5 Metabolism Boosting Foods to Speed Up Weight Loss

Mostly people skip breakfast due to hurry and usually people think that in losing weight you should skip breakfast. This is not the right way. In losing weight, we should take breakfast necessarily. Even we should take something after every two hours. But we should reduce quantity of each meal.

Today we are going to share 10 minute metabolism-boosting breakfast that will help in losing weight.

1. Blueberry Muffin Parfait


  • 1 Tbsp coconut flour
  • 2 Tbsp almond flour
  • 1 tsp ground flaxseed
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp mashed ripe banana or applesauce
  • 1 Tbsp fat-free milk
  • 4 Tbsp fresh blueberries, divided
  • ½ c fat-free vanilla Greek yogurt

Blueberry Muffin Parfait Recipe

Method of Preparation:

1. Lightly grease the microwavable mug. Combine coconut flour, almond flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and flaxseed. Mix it in egg, applesauce and milk until fully incorporated. Add blueberries and pour this mixture in the mug.

2. Microwave it for 1 to 2 minutes on high until toothpick inserted into it comes out clean. Now cool it enough to handle it easily.

3. Crumble half of muffin into the bottom of bowl or jar. Now make a layer of yogurt. Repeat layers with muffins and yogurt. Make topping with blueberries and enjoy.
